Carol E. Kaufman

Carol E. Kaufman, 77, of Milroy, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Mar. 27, 2019, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown.  Born Sept. 7, 1941 in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late James S. and Alda Blanche (Shank) Wilson.  Her husband, Robert E. Kaufman, whom she married Oct. 10, 1958, survives.  Also surviving are: children, Douglas A. Kaufman of Selinsgrove, Andrew J. Kaufman of Strodes Mills, Pamela Duke and husband Jack of McVeytown; sisters, Barbara Wilson of Tempe, AZ., Susan Correll of Peoria, AZ.; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother, James A. Wilson in 1981.  Carol was a retired secretary from Ikon Business Solutions, State College.  She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Siglerville.  She was a 1958 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and secretary of her class.  Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and her monthly luncheons with her cousins.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

There will be a viewing 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 30, 2019, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: Milroy-Reedsville Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 547, Reedsville, Pa. 17084.  Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
