Emabel H. Wagner, 86, formerly of Lewistown, went to be with her Lord Sunday morning, Apr. 28, 2019, at Valley View Haven, Belleville. Born Nov. 5, 1932 in Mt. Union, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. Hancock, Sr. and Mary C. (Long) Hancock. Survivng are: children, Frank C. Wagner, Jr. and wife Carol of Lewistown, Jana L. Wagner of Reedsville, James J. Wagner and wife Cara of Lewistown; grandchildren Stephen Wagner and wife Krysta, Amy Dillon, Jenny Armstrong, Kris Armstrong, Brandi Wagner, Maura Wagner, Olivia Wagner, seven great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Hancock Secrest and husband Charles of Burnham. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Sue Wagner, siblings, Ellenoir Hancock Buffington, Paul W. Hancock, Betty Hancock Smith, Charles R. Hancock, Jr., 2 infant brothers, Bruce and Harvey. Emabel was a member of the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, Mt. Union. She was a talented organist for the Burnham Church of the Brethren for many years and played one time at the Baltimore Conservatory of Music.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday May, 2, 2019 at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastor Jim Hullihen officiating. There will be a viewing one hour before the funeral. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
