Helen L. Wilson, 87, of Milroy, passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 19, 2019, at her home. Born Aug. 19, 1931 in Oriental, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine Audrey (Fulkrod) Kain. Her husband, Calvin Ellsworth Wilson, preceded her in death on July 5, 1985. She is survived by children: Deborah C. Schwindt and husband Larry of Mesa, AZ., Benjamin Brad Wilson of Milroy, Kathleen Gail Peachey and husband Barry of Carlisle, Heidi Linthurst of Milroy, Brian S. Wilson of Lewistown; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by five siblings. Helen had worked at Erie Technological in State College, and then she and her husband owned and operated the Frosty Freeze in Milroy. She was a member of the Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, Reedsville, the N.R.A., and was active in the Wounded Warrior Project.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, Mar. 22, 2019 at Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, 99 Taylor Dr., Reedsville, with Pastor Douglas Sabin officiating. There will be a viewing one hour before the funeral, Friday, at the church.
