Joseph Knepp Obituary

Joseph G. Knepp, 72, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Apr. 10, 2019, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. Born July 17, 1946 in Yeagertown, he was a son of the late Harry F. and Hazel M. (Snyder) Knepp. His wife, Mona J. Knepp, survives. Also surviving are: children, Joseph G. Knepp, Jr. and wife Jane of Port Royal, Jody L. Knepp and wife Barbara of Lewistown, stepson John Maben of Lewistown, ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Knepp. Joe was a retired crane operator at Standard Steel, with 11 years of service. He was a 1965 graduate of Chief Logan High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and always had a hunting story. He loved spending time with his family.
