Margaret E. Bowers

Margaret E. Bowers, 79, of Lewistown, passed away, Tuesday morning, August 6, 2019, at her home.  Born March 13, 1940 in Siglerville, she was a daughter of the late William Chester and Josephine F. (Goss) Weiand.  She is survived by children, William J. Bowers and wife Mary of Reedsville, Karen R. Bowers of Colorado Springs, Co; siblings, Leroy J. Weiand of Milroy, Mary A. Tate of Newport; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She was a 1959 graduate of Kish High School and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Siglerville.

There will be a graveside service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Salem Cemetery, Siglerville with Rev. Charles Hershberger officiating.
