Wanda L. Hook

Wanda L. Hook, 95, formerly of N. Main St., Milroy, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Mar. 20, 2019 at William Penn Healthcare, Lewistown.  Born Mar. 7, 1924 in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Ellen (Mitchell) Mills.  Her husband, Carl L. Hook, preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1989.  She is survived by a daughter: Carol A. Wagner and husband Donald of Reedsville, a grandson, Donald C. Wagner and wife Kelly; a great granddaughter, Elise D. Wagner; nieces and nephews Debbie, Rod, Chris, Dana, Cadan, Desah and Dacah.  She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by siblings: Mildred Confer, Isabelle Close, Anna M. Traxler, Leona I. Goss, and an infant brother, Charles Mills.  Wanda was a member of the Milroy White Memorial Church and the JOY Sunday School Class.  She was a 1942 graduate of Milroy High School, the last of her class.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
