Bruce P. Snyder Jr., 60, of 215 Seventh Ave., Burnham, passed away at 5:33 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. He was born Feb. 11, 1962, in Lewistown, a son of the late Bruce P. Snyder Sr. and Shirley J. (Burns) Borowski, of Burnham.
He is also survived by: a son, Zackarey E. Snyder and his mother, Virgie Ann Tah of Phoenix, Ariz.; siblings, Kristi and Ray, Danny and Jessica, Mark and Angel, and John, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
Bruce graduated in 1980 from Chief Logan High School. He then attended Vale Technical Institute in Pittsburgh, where he studied autobody. He was always employed as an autobody technician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and reloading. Another of his passions was cooking. So much so, that he raised his own herbs, had a vegetable garden and even became a worm farmer so that he would have the proper soil to grow his vegetables and herbs properly.
He was a member of Lewistown Church of Christ.
His memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Lewistown Church of Christ, 301 Pine St., Lewistown, with Pastor Charles Brown and Bill Garrett officiating.
