Charles Pecht Obituary

Charles R. Pecht, 82, of Knob Ridge Road, Milroy, passed away Monday morning, Jan. 24, 2022, at his home. Born August 24, 1939 in Milroy, he was a son of the late Grant R. and Ruth M. (Treaster) Pecht. His wife, Mary Virginia (Confer) Pecht, preceded him in death on July 9, 2019.

He is survived by: children, Sharon K. Poorman and husband Ralph F. of State College, Mary Ruth Arnold and husband Michael J. of Milroy; four grandchildren, Kelly Timney & husband Andrew, Kade Poorman & wife Jessica, Luke Arnold, Lily Arnold; two great grandchildren, Heidi Elizabeth Poorman, Gretchen Alise Poorman; siblings, Roland Pecht and wife Martha of Milroy, Lynda Kichline and husband Robert of Royersford, Dr. Karl Pecht and wife Ruth Ann of Beech Creek. He was preceded in death by an infant brother Grant R. Pecht, Jr.

He had worked 40 plus years as a farmer and finish carpenter. He attended St. Marks Methodist Church, Havice Valley.

At his request, there will be no services.
