David Joseph ‘Dunkle’ Shreffler, 39, born July 17, 1981, of 141 Stimely Road, Lewistown, passed away Sunday morning, October 11, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was the son of Roy W. Sheffler and the late Martha Ellen (Goss) Shreffler. He was father of Eve Rebecca Bailey and grandfather of Henry Charles Bailey. Also surviving are: brothers, Scott Shreffler, Brian Shreffler and his partner Danusia Roddey; nephews, Nicholas Shreffler, Blaze Shreffler; nieces, Taylor Goss, Olivia Boaz, Briana Nicole Shreffler.

He enjoyed spending time with his dogs Samson and Sully, being in the woods drawing, and reading his favorite author, Stephen King. He was a wonderful artist with a wild imagination and always had a story to tell. Baby Dave will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts and minds. He had a very kind heart; we wish everyone knew.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
