Debbie J. Kauffman

Debbie J. Kauffman, 63, of 95 Mechanic Street, Milroy, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

                She was born August 14, 1958 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Dean and Florence McGhee. She was married to Barry L. Kauffman; he survives at their home.

                Debbie is also survived by a daughter, Paige Kauffman & partner Jeremy Ammerman of McClure, grandchildren, Caden, Riley and Cohen Ammerman, Kennedy Fisher and Reed Aumiller, her siblings, Dena Baker, Denise Knisley, Dodie Brown and Dan McGhee, as well as a brother-in-law, Brian Weaver & wife Beth of Lewistown.

                Debbie served as a cook, bar tender and did cleaning at various jobs, and most recently was working at the American Legion Post 287 in Milroy.

                She was a member of the American Legion Post 287 as well as the Ladies Auxiliary there. She enjoyed cooking and she loved her golden retriever, Bailey. Most of all Debbie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and especially with her grandchildren.

                Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Reedsville. Her funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Mount Rock Cemetery in Lewistown.
