Elsie Woodward Obituary

Elsie K. Woodward, 69, of Milroy, passed away Wednesday morning, April 22, 2020, at her home. Born April 29, 1950 in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late George and Minnie (Thomas) Ross. Her husband, Robert C. Woodward, whom she married Dec. 15, 1979, survives. Also surviving are: two sons, Nathan C. Woodward and wife Sarah of Yarnell, Pa., Dennis P. Woodward and wife Janie of Clermont, Fla.; grandchildren, Kyleen, Nick, Jordan, Mackenzie, Jackson, Kassie and Chris; siblings, Hazel Stine of Lewistown, Richard Ross and wife Esther of McVeytown, Shirley Ross of Mifflintown, William Ross of McClure, Joan Sheetz and husband Richard of Milroy, John Ross and wife Paula of Yeagertown, Ronald Ross of Belleville, Archie Ross of Milroy. She was preceded in death by brothers: George Ross, Jr., James Ross, Joseph Ross, Sr., Howard Ross; and sisters: Mary Farleman, Nora Clinger, Janet Powell. She was a 1969 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School. Elsie loved and was devoted to her children and grandchildren; her grandchildren is where she drew her strength and left her legacy.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
