Florence Pennepacker Obituary
Florence M. Pennepacker, 80, of Lewistown, and formerly of Milroy passed away Tuesday morning, Mar. 16, 2021, at William Penn Healthcare, Lewistown. Born June 15, 1940 in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Melvin L. and Alberta Sarah (Sweitzer) Pennepacker. Surviving are: siblings, Jesse J. Pennepacker and wife Helen of Reedsville, Evelyn L. Fultz and husband David L. of Milroy, John L. Pennepacker and wife Barbara of Reedsville. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Melvin L. ‘Penny’ Pennepacker, Jr., 1998, and Frank W. Pennepacker, 2005.
She had worked at Arrow Shirt Co., Lewistown for 25 years and Mifflin County School district for 18 years. She was a 1960 graduate of Kish High School. She attended Barrville Mennonite Church.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, Mar. 19, 2021 at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastor Carl Geissinger officiating. There will be a viewing 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
