Gordon L. ‘Scoop’ Campbell, 80, of Reedsville, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 25, 2020 at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown. Born July 20, 1940 in Burnham, he was a son of the late Gordon C. and Luella M. (Schaeffer) Campbell. His wife, Judith Anne (Sterrett) Campbell, preceded him in death on April 25, 2016.
Surviving are: children, Julie Harrison of Orange Park, Fla., G. Brent Campbell of Reedsville; step-son, Phillip C. Norris, Sr. of Burnham; sisters, Carol A. Wagner of Yeagertown, Nancy J. Evola of Mifflintown; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda L. Spagnoletti and a brother, Thomas J. Campbell.
He was a 1960 graduate of Chief Logan High School, and had retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
A graveside service at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2021, with Pastor James Plank officiating.
