Graffius 'Skip' Shirk, Jr. Obituary

Graffius E. ‘Skip’ Shirk, Jr., 72, formerly of Lumber City, Reedsville, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 2, 2022, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown. Born April 27, 1949 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Graffius E. Shirk, Sr. and Dorothy J. (Dukes) Shirk.

He is survived by: a daughter, Angela K. Moist and husband Shane of McVeytown; brothers, Wayne Shirk of Tyrone and Donald Shirk of Burnham; grandchildren, Shane Moist, Jr. and Connor Moist.

He had worked at Standard Steel, Burnham, Jay-Wood, Milroy and lastly at Weis Markets, Palymra. He was a 1967 graduate of Kish High School.

Family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022 at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.
