Harry G. Aurand, 88, of Reedsville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 at William Penn Healthcare, Lewistown. Born May 31, 1933 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Harry G. Aurand, Sr. and Ruth L. (Shively) Aurand. His wife, Donna M. (Smith) Aurand, whom he married Nov. 13, 1955, survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Pamela J. Johnson of Lewistown; two granddaughters, Samantha Smith and Jacey Metzgar; four great grandchildren, Skylar Montz, Brooklyn Montz, Braylon Montz, Malek Smith. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul ‘Pidge’ Aurand on April 13, 2018, and a brother, Robert Aurand.
Harry was the owner of Fence Row Crafts, Yeagertown, and before that had worked as purchasing agent and salesman at Danks & Co. He was a 1952 graduate of Lewistown High School. He was a member of the Reedsville United Methodist Church, where he served as Sunday School Teacher and Lay Leader.
There will be a funeral service Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at the Reedsville United Methodist Church, Pastor Jean Ward officiating, with a viewing one hour before the funeral.
