James Kuhns Obituary

James A. Kuhns, 67, of Lingle Valley Road, Milroy, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 6, 2020, at his home. Born Dec. 30, 1952 in Reedsville, he was a son of the late Ruth I. (Rhoades) Kuhns and Merle A. Kuhns, Sr. His wife, Joyce (Williams) Kuhns, whom he married May 13, 1995, survives.

Also surviving are: a daughter, Kathy Wolfgang and husband Steven of Lewistown; a stepson, Andrew Hedrick and wife Stephanie of Harrisonburg, VA; four grandchildren, Gillian Hedrick, Clayton, Morgan, and Madison Wolfgang; siblings, Fred L. Kuhns, San Angelo, TX., Grace Reed, Reedsville, Dorothy Stitt, Lewistown, Mrs. John (Shirley) Wert, Lewistown. He was preceded in death by six siblings.

He worked as an independent truck driver.

There will be a viewing 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020 at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville (COVID-19 protocol will be followed). Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, with Pastor Ed Fleming officiating.
