Jane C. Tate

Jane C. Tate, 83, of Burnham and Yeagertown, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 25, 2019, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown. One of eight children, Jane was born August 19, 1936, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late George Fred Tate, Sr. and Pearl Amanda (Miller) Tate. She is survived by: a sister, Barbara Lilley; sisters-in-law, Betty Tate, Shirley Tate and Mary Tate; and was a proud and loving aunt to twenty five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: brothers, George Fred Tate, Jr., Cloyd Alvin Tate, Sr., Leonard Tate, Norman Roy Tate; sisters, Mary Page, and Sharon McAteer.

Jane was a member of the Holy Communion Lutheran Church of Yeagertown. She will be remembered most for her smile, laughter and great sense of humor.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham, with Pastor Jean Ward officiating.
