Janet C. Shank

Janet C. Shank, 82, of Greenwood Village, Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Greenwood Village.

She was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Juniata County, a daughter of the late Vernon L. and Ruth P. (Wagner) Shank.

Janet is survived by a brother, H. Louis Shank and wife Cecile of Rhode Island, and a sister, Nancy Coffey and husband Jack of Lewistown, as well as eight nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Blaine L. ”Tiny” Shank and R. Brown Shank.

She served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1967-1970. She graduated from Penn State University and retired as a secretary for the athletic department at Penn State.

Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Milroy with Pastor Darrell Wireman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Henderson- Bohn Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
