Janet E. Zook

  Janet E. Zook, 94, of Valley View Terrace, Belleville, and formerly of Allensville, passed away Sunday evening, April 5, 2020 at her residence.  Born Sept. 5, 1925 in Allensville, she was a daughter of the late Levi L. and Maude E. (Yoder) Hartzler.  Her husband, Loren F. Zook, whom she married Sept. 16, 1945, preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1976.

  She is survived by: one son Douglas R. Zook and wife Lou Ann of Newport, TN.; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Anna Hartzler of Valley View.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Hartzler, Fred Hartzler, George W. Hartzler, one sister, Beatrice Roth.

  She was a member of the Beth-El Mennonite Church.
