Jerry Treaster Obituary

Jerry A. Treaster, 56, of 107 Greenwood Avenue, Yeagertown, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022, his brother Michael’s birthday. He was born October 20, 1965 in Lewistown, a son of the late James Nelson “Jack” Treaster and Mildred Louise “Toot” (Goss) Treaster.

He is survived by a sister, Renee S. Cox of Yeagertown and a brother Matthew C. Treaster & wife April (Havice) of Yeagertown. Jerry worked at the family business, Treaster’s Exxon, Lewistown, until it closed in 2002. He then went to work for DHL and B & B Sealcoating. He attended Kishacoquillas High School.

He enjoyed watching college football and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He would often be found texting or talking with his brother Matt about football scores. Jerry will be greatly missed by all that knew him, including Renee’s daycare children and his cat, “Jack”.

Per his wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
