Joyce A. Hostetler

  Joyce A. Hostetler, 89, of Lewistown and formerly of Woolen Mill Road, Reedsville, passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 25, 2020, at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.  Born Nov. 17, 1930 in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Harry F. and Evelyn E. (Moyle) Stuter.  Her husband, David Y. Hostetler, preceded her in death, May 10, 2018.  Surviving are children, Robert Hostetler and wife Janet of Reedsville, Jane Prye and husband Marlin, James Hostetler and wife Kathy all of Lewistown; grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Mindy, Aimee, and Ty; and she was a proud great grandmother.  Joyce was the last of her immediate family.  She retired from the Lewistown Hospital E.R.  She was a member of the Barrville Mennonite Church.  She enjoyed line dancing, crocheting, and spending time with family and grandchildren.

  A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Barrville Mennonite Church with Pastor Carl Geissinger officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.  Memorial contributions should be made to: Rescue Our Furry Friends, 133 N Walnut St., Burnham, Pa.  17009, or Barrville Mennonite Church, 48 Barrville Mountain Rd., Reedsville, Pa. 17084
