Kenneth R. Maben, Sr.

  Kenneth R. Maben, Sr., 85, of Milroy, passed away Friday afternoon, Oct. 2, 2020, at his home.  Born Feb. 1, 1935 in Reedsville, he was a son of the late Earl J. and Stella V. (Henry) Maben.  His wife, Janet D. (Hoy) Maben, whom he married July 4, 1958, survives.

  Also surviving are: children, Kenneth R. Maben, Jr. and wife Dorothy L. of Navarre, Fla., Barry L. Maben and wife Lisa A. of Reedsville, Joan M. Burkey and husband Michael of Reedsville, Bradley A. Maben and wife Penny L. of Milroy; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Maben.

  He was a retired fork truck driver with Masland Carpets, Lewistown.  Ken was a 1952 graduate of Armagh-Brown High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

  There will be a viewing 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020 at the Big Valley Bible Church, Reedsville.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the church with Pastors Jim Hartzler and Jeff Hartzler officiating.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to: Big Valley Bible Church, 139 W. Railroad St., Reedsville.
