Laura J. Frankhouser

  Laura J. Frankhouser, 60, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 9, 2020, at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.  Born July 25, 1959 in Barrville, she was a daughter of Marlene A. (Kuhns) Frankhouser of Lewistown, and the late Maurice Benton Frankhouser.  She is survived by a son, Gabriel O. Specht; siblings, Maurice B. Frankhouser, Jr., formerly of Lewistown, Allan A. Frankhouser of Lewistown, and Lorraine Peachey and husband Gary of Centre Hall.  She was preceded in death by a son: Nicholas O. Powell.  Laura was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Barrville Mennonite Church.

  A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at the Barrville Mennonite Church with Pastor Carl Geissinger officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: Bohn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 10, Reedsville, Pa. 17084.
