Linda Bowen Obituary

Linda J. Bowen, 78, of Milroy passed away Friday morning, April 2, 2021, at UPMC, Williamsport. Born Sept. 24, 1942 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Howard M. ‘Mouse’ and Josephine V. (Hoar) Johnson. Her husband, Bert A. Bowen, preceded her in death on July 20, 2020. Surviving are: a son, Bret A. Bowen of Elizabethtown; siblings, John R. Johnson and wife Karen of Milroy, Lucinda ‘Sue’ Gearhart and husband Larry of Yeagertown. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Dorn H. Johnson, Sr., Feb. 15, 1999 and George A. Johnson, Sr., Nov. 6, 2004.

She had retired from Fisher - Sanyo Electronics, Milroy, after 37 years of service. She was a member of the Yeagertown United Methodist Church, the Milroy United Methodist Church and the Yeagertown Lions Club.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A private interment will be held in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
