Linda J. (Headings) Miller

Linda J. (Headings) Miller, 66, of Belleville, went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2022 at 10:55 p.m.

Linda lived with her partner, John Stroup. She was born on September 18, 1955 in Lewistown to Kenneth J. Headings and the late Mona L. Headings of Reedsville.

She is survived by her three children, Abby Henry and husband Frederick Henry, Jr. of Beaver Springs, Zachary J. Miller and fiancÈ Crystal Kohler of Yeagertown, and Brooke E. Miller and fiancÈ Matthew Daubert of Lewistown. She is also survived by her sister, Lisa J. Woodring and her husband Thomas R. Woodring of Mifflinburg and her nieces, Carly (Woodring) Miller & husband Simon Miller, Tessa (Woodring) Pick and husband Kenna Pick.

She was blessed with six grandchildren: Kimberly Baringer and husband Bryan Baringer, Brady Henry, Ronnie Henry, Travis Henry, Kyson Miller and Kennedi Miller. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Dr. Barry J. Headings and her sweet mother, Mona L. Headings.

Linda graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1973, and graduated from Penn State University in 1978. She taught special education for 25 years and was an advocate for children with special needs. She touched many lives in her career, many of which still remember the impact she made.

Linda loved nature and enjoyed all the beauty that it brings to this earth. One of her passions was creating beautiful flower gardens nurturing each plant with her bare hands and bare feet. She would do anything to create flower gardens wherever life took her.

She was loved by many family and friends during her lifetime. Linda had a warm, friendly personality. She will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on in all her family members hearts.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Reedsville, PA, with Pastor Rick Bender officiating. Burial will take place at Church Hill Cemetery following the service. Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
