Margaret G. “Little Bit” Weaver, 73, of 1659 Lingle Valley Road, Milroy, passed away at 12:52 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown.
She was born on October 26, 1949 in Huntingdon, PA, a daughter of the late Jack & Alice (Morningstar) Fairbanks. She was previously married to James Weaver, Sr.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannette Weaver, James “Jim Bob” Weaver, Jr. & wife Pam, Darren Weaver & wife Beth and Craig Weaver & fiancé Carol Schmidt; four grandchildren, Tyler Weaver, Michaela Setzler & husband Chad, Lindsey Weaver & fiancé Kevin Wells, and Olivia Yoder & husband Jordan; great-grandchildren, John Murphy, Katherine Murphy and Luke Setzler; as well as her siblings, Ron Cutshall, Ed Fairbanks, Jack Fairbanks, Jr. and wife Moony, Chuck Fairbanks, Bob Fairbanks and Tom Fairbanks, and a brother-in-law, Don McCartney.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Iva McCartney.
Margaret was a devoted homemaker for many years, and took loving care of her daughter, Jeannette and their dog Mandy, all her life.
Margaret & Jeannette were both loved very much by their neighbors. They enjoyed watching Penn State Football together, and Margaret especially enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family and making food for picnics.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville with Pastor Doug Pierce officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Juniata Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends for a viewing from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Reedsville.
