Mary C. Ruble

Mary C. Ruble, 89, of McClure, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born on March 12, 1933, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Joseph Wagner and Myra (Ruble) Wagner.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen E. Ruble, Sr.; a son, Douglas L. Ruble, Sr.; sister, Dora J. (Wagner) Stewart & husband, Elwood; brother, James A. Wagner and wife, Valerie; daughter in law, Lisa M. (Moser) Ruble and a sister, Karen.

She will be remembered and missed by her loving family. Surviving are her children, Glen E. Ruble, Jr. and companion, Shirley; Myra L. Yocum and husband Paul Sr.; Rick L. Ruble, Sr. and wife Tina, and Charles W. Ruble and companion, Missy.

Grandchildren: Tony Poorman and wife, Rebecca, Paula L. Liddick and husband, Paul Jr., Paul E. Yocum, Jr. and companion Angelique, Roxanna Renninger and husband Wyatt, Rick Ruble and companion, Tessa, Shyanne Ruble, Clay Ruble, Sr. and wife Brittany, Tasha Zimmerman, and Douglas Ruble, Jr.; 26 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren.

As well as her siblings: George Wagner and wife Lilian, and Joseph Wagner and wife Carol.

Mary was a school bus driver for decades with Fisher’s Bus Company until she retired.

She loved hunting, hummingbirds, going to yard sales with her sister and was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. She also loved watching western movies.

A funeral service in loving memory of Mary will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2022 at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Reedsville, Pennsylvania. Interment will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery following the service. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Should friends desire, memorials in Mary’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
