Mildred G. McKnight

  Mildred G. McKnight, 98, of Honey Creek Road, Reedsville, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at her home.  She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late John and Ida Mae (McKallips) Harbst.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton M. McKnight, Sr., 1974, and two sons, Hilton M. McKnight, Jr, 2020, infant son, Bryon Thomas McKnight, 1964.

  Surviving are: children, Kenneth L. McKnight, Sr. and wife Inez, David J. McKnight and wife Dottie, Gail A. Packard and husband Don, Larry A. McKnight and wife Brenda, Keith R. McKnight and wife Helen, Steven A. McKnight and wife Cindy, Kathleen D. McKnight, Audrey E. Bowersox and husband Marvin, Jeffrey L. McKnight, Karen S. Campbell and husband Jim, Darryl S. McKnight and wife Belinda, Phyllis B. Rose and husband Richard; siblings, Donald Fryer, Gladys Fisher; 30 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren.

  She was a member of Shrader United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was very close to cousin, Margie Mann of Lancaster.

  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Bailey officiating, interment will follow in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to: Shrader United Methodist Church, 1590 Honey Creek Road, Reedsville, PA 17084.
