Mildred Spicer Obituary

Mildred E. Spicer, 79, of Milroy, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. 

Born July 11, 1944 in Rebersburg, she was the daughter of the late Melvin D. and Mary J. (Wilson) Snare.

She was preceded in death by husband Joseph A. Spicer, daughter Tina M. Yohn, siblings: Catherine, Alice, Ethel, Melvin, Robert, Harry, and Clara.

She is survived by daughter Rose M. Morrison and husband Michael R. of Reedsville; grandsons, Andrew C. Yohn and fiancé McKenzie Raybuck and Joshua A. Yohn; step-grandchildren, Christina L. DeChamplain, Ross T. Morrison, and a brother Terry Snare of Spring Mills, PA.

Mildred enjoyed family and friends visits and reading her Bible.

For 30+ years, she worked alongside her husband at Joe’s Body Shop, a business they owned and operated in Milroy.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Centre County Memorial Park in State College with Pastor Gregory Allen officiating.
