Nancy Aumiller Obituary

Nancy Mae (Prye) Aumiller, 72, of Milroy, passed away at 4:42 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at Locust Grove Retirement Village in Mifflin.

She was born Nov. 13, 1949, in Milroy, a daughter of the late Harold David Prye and Mabel Luella (Rhoades) Wiser. On May 28, 1971, she married Richard Elwood Aumiller, who resides at their home.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by: her children, Ronald Curtis Aumiller and husband Joseph Winterhalter of Camp Hill; Angela Jean (Aumiller) Malone of Shippensburg; Nancy Jean (Aumiller) Gavaghan and husband Timothy of Waldorf, Md.; stepchildren: Harry Richard Aumiller and wife Jackie of Four Corners, N.C.; Roberta Marie ( Aumiller) Isabella and husband Matt of Santee, Calif.; and Brandon Lee Aumiller of Milroy; as well as 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandson, a brother, Marlin Eugene Prye and wife Jane of Danielsville, and a sister, Sally Ann (Prye) Lash and husband Grover of Milroy. She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Alan Aumiller, a sister, Brenda Lee Young, and a grandson, Justin Scot Everly.

Nancy attended Kishacoquillas High School. She was a retired office manager and co-owner of Aumiller and Associates Insurance Inc.

She was a captain for the Main Street Bar Ladies Pool team, she was a member for 30 years at Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, where she served as the nursery supervisor. She was also a member of the American Rose Society. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband, growing flowers, especially roses, and snuggling her fur babies, Nikki, Kia, and Tinker.

Her family will have a private viewing at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home in Reedsville. The public is invited to attend her graveside service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, with Pastor Doug Sabin officiating at Woodlawn Cemetery in Milroy.
