Nancy J. Aumiller, 75, of Brookline Village in Mifflintown and formerly of 91 Fort Granville Lane, Lewistown, passed away at 8:02 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Brookline.
She was born at home on October 17, 1947. She was a daughter of the late Stanford Milton and Lydia Viola (Dobson) Haines.
Surviving are: her son, Dane Aumiller, of Milroy, her daughter, Bobbie (Aumiller) Leidy of Beaver Springs; her grandchildren, Jesse Rains, Michaylin Clinger, and Kelsey Leidy; a great-grandson, Keyson Dutrow; two sisters, Janice Kathleen Barket and Jo-Anne Marie Ritter, and a brother Stanford Milton Haines, Jr., all of McClure.
Nancy was a wonderful wife and mother of two children. She waitressed, delivered the Sentinel, had a bicycle shop and was once the proud owner of A&A Auto Sales. She loved the mountains and Mother Nature and enjoyed gardening, canning fruits and vegetables, going to flea markets, collecting bottles and photography. She was loved and will be missed by many, especially her family. She is in God's hands now and will suffer no longer, God bless her courageous heart.
There will be a closed casket graveside service held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at St. Mark’s Cemetery in Lewistown.
