Phyllis Artley Obituary

Phyllis A. Artley, 80, of Milroy, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 17, 2021, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born May 22, 1940 in Rauchtown, Pa. she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Loubach) Fenstamaker. Her husband, William A. Artley, Sr. preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2018. Surviving are: children, James Meixel and wife Diana of Selinsgrove, Kim Meixel and wife Sandy of New Hampshire, Scott Meixel and wife Erin, Penny Reed and husband Tim all of Lewistown; siblings, Gary Fenstamaker and wife Eby of Baltimore, MD., George Fenstamaker, Jr. and wife Maureen of Jersey Shore, Terry Fenstamaker of Rauchtown, Deborah Confer and husband Ed of Loganton; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dean Meixel.

She had worked at Rutters Market in Milroy. She was a member of the Milroy American Legion Ladies Auxillary and the Yeagertown Fire Co.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
