Phyllis M. Kline Freed

  Phyllis M. Kline Freed, 91, of Reedsville, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 19, 2020, at Valley View Haven, Belleville, due to COVID-19.  Born Jan. 15, 1929 in Beaver Springs, she was a daughter of the late Lester Fern and Jennie Marie (Smith) Kline.  Her husband, John David Freed, of 64 years until his death, passed away Jan. 6, 2015.  Surviving are: sisters, Mrs. George (Peggy) Moore of Belleville and Mrs. C. Glenn (Barbara Ann) Henry of East Waterford.  She was preceded in death by: brothers Kenneth R. Kline, Donald H. Kline, Robert E. Kline, and Charles E. Kline. 

  She was a member of Reedsville Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a 1947 graduate of Reedsville High School.  She had worked for years at Headings Drug Store, and retired from Kline Brothers Eggs and Hillandale Farms.  She enjoyed bingo and puzzles.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
