Richard Wagner Obituary

Richard W. Wagner, 65, of Milroy, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 20, 2021, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital, after fighting cancer for 3 years. Born Nov. 13, 1956 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Landis Edwin Wagner and Josephine Stella Elizabeth (Kearns) ‘Pean’ Wagner.

He is survived by: his fiancé and partner in life, Cindy Walker; children, Richard Landis Wagner of Milroy, Matthew Lynne Wagner, Megan Nicole Wagner both of Richmond, Va.; six grandchildren. He loved his dog Hunter. He was preceded in death by: a sister, Vivian L. Bonson and a brother, Robert Landis ‘Bobby’ Wagner.

He was a 1974 graduate of Kish High School and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a self-employed custom cabinet builder.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
