Robert E. Fisher

  Robert E. Fisher, 73, of Reedsville, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 13, 2021, at Temple University Hospital.  Born Dec. 9, 1947 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Robert E. Huff and Gladys P. (Woodring) Fisher Smith.  His wife, Peggy J. (Knapp) Fisher, whom he married Sept. 12, 1998, survives.

  Surviving are: children, Marjorie Thygeson of Jenkintown, Tobias Fisher of Landsdale, Cy M. Fisher of Reedsville; grandchildren, Jake Thygeson, Matt Thygeson. Owen Thygeson, Chase Thygeson, Aubrey Williams, Kate Fisher, Brooke Fisher; a sister, Patricia Koch of McClure.  He was preceded in death by: a son, Joshua Fisher; brothers, David Smith and Darryl Fisher.

  He had been a self-employed contractor, and before that worked at Ingersoll-Rand.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

  There will be a Celebration of Life service 12 -4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at the Reedsville Firehouse, 16 Brown Township Drive.  Interment, at a future date, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
