Scott A. Bishop, Sr.

  Scott A. Bishop, Sr., 52, of Reedsville, passed away, Wednesday morning, Feb. 3, 2021, at his residence.  Born June 26, 1968 in Lewistown, he was a son of Albert M. and Sharon L. (Lewis) Bishop of Ulysses, Pa.  His wife, Crystal L. (Kerstetter) Bishop, whom he married May 5, 1990, survives.  Also surviving are: children, Scott A. Bishop, Jr. and wife Nikita, Kelly L. Mayes and husband Nathan all of Reedsville; siblings, Jill Nepper and husband Ron of Burnham, Beth Hassinger and husband Christian of Reedsville; grandchildren Mack M. Mayes, Dawson S. Bishop, and one on the way; In-laws, Dave and Cindy Kerstetter of Reedsville.

  He had worked in maintenance at the Mifflin County School District.  He was a 1986 graduate of Chief Logan High School.  Scott was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Blue Rock Sportsmens Club and the N.R.A.  He attended the New Life Church, Burnham.

  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb.6, 2021 at the New Life Church, Burnham, with Pastors John Walters and Mike Bailey officiating.  There will be a viewing 2 hours before funeral services at the church.  Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Siglerville.  Memorial contributions can be made to: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA. 90266.
