Shelby J. Stimely, 76, formerly of Reedsville, passed away Friday afternoon, Feb. 26, 2021, at William Penn Healthcare, Lewistown. Born May 13, 1944 in Reedsville, she was a daughter of the late Frank Rheam, Sr. and Frances A. (Narehood) Rheam. Her husband, Richard Park Stimely, preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1990. Surviving are: two sons, Brian R. Stimely and wife Mary of Burnham, Bradley A. Stimely and wife Leslie of McVeytown; two sisters, Frances T. Rheam of Lewistown, Joann Russell and husband William of Reedsville; grandchildren, Brian Stimely and wife Andi, Alli Stimely and companion Dane Stroup; great grandson, Dawson Stimely. She was preceded in death by siblings: Frank Rheam, Jr., Clifford R. Rheam, Anna L. Farrell, Shirley M. Farleman, Margaret Swanger, Dorothy Phillips.
She had worked at Hartman Center and Mifflin County School District cafeteria. She was a 1962 graduate of Kish High School and a member of the Reedsville Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Mar. 3, 2021 at the Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastor Stephen Durr officiating. There will be a viewing Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
