William G. Hardison, 80, of Reedsville peacefully entered Heaven on Friday, Jan. 24, surrounded by his loving family.

Born Feb. 19, 1939, in Montgomery, AL, he was the son of the late Clayton H. and Mae (Winter) Hardison.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy W. Hardison of Frederick, MD; and a sister, Elizabeth L. Hardison of Lynchburg, VA.

Bill graduated from West Chester Teachers College and later served in the Navy as supply officer aboard the USS Alcor. He taught math and computer science in Del. and Mifflin County, Pa. for a total of 38 years. He devoted many of those years coaching high school wrestling. Later he was assistant coach for high school cross-county.
