William F. Ruble, 77, of Milroy, passed away Sunday evening, Aug. 29, 2021, at his home. Born Oct. 19, 1943 in Milroy, he was a son of the late Clarence E. and Mary Jane (Kurtz) Ruble. His wife, Linda S. (Davis) (Hunt) Ruble, whom he married June 30, 1965, survives. Also surviving are: children, William Todd Ruble and wife Tina of Rock Hill, S.C., Jamie L. Knepp and husband Chris of Reedsville, Nathan L. Ruble of Milroy; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Carpenter, and brothers, Ray E. Ruble, David E. Ruble, James Ruble, Richard Ruble, Merle C. Ruble, Robert R. Ruble and an infant brother, Charles.
He had been the Vice President at Lewistown Cabinet Center, Milroy. He was a graduate of Kish High School, and was an M.P. with the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to a charity of donor's choice.
