William I. Sheaffer

William I. Sheaffer, 76, of Treaster Valley, Milroy, passed away Monday afternoon, May 6, 2019, at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.  Born Feb. 3, 1943 in Burnham, he was a son of the late Harvey L. and Mary M. (Gearhart) Sheaffer.  His wife, Barbara A. (Wible) Sheaffer, whom he married March 22, 1969, survives.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey E. Sheaffer, in 1952.  He retired from New Holland in 2004.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  Bill was a 1961 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School, and a member of the Blue Rock Sportsman’s Club, Mifflin County Sportsman’s Club, and the N.R.A.  He enjoyed hunting and shooting trap.

There will be a viewing 11-12 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.
