William 'Joe' Ryder Obituary

William Joseph ‘Joe’ Ryder, 66, of Pleasant Acres, Lewistown, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2021, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born April 25, 1954 in Gettysburg, he was a son of the late William C. Ryder and Cynthia A. (Gilbert) Stauffer. He is survived by: children, Justin Adam Ryder and wife Kami of York and Rebecca M. Schreiner and companion Thomas of Pleasant Acres, Lewistown; a brother, Donald Ryder of Spring Grove, Pa.; grandchildren, Leila Schreiner, Taylor Schreiner, and Grayson Ryder. He was a graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School, Hagerstown, MD., and Hagerstown Community College and was Phi Theta Kappa at Shepard University, West Virginia. Joe was a retired L.P.N.

A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held at a later date.
