Wilson A. 'June' Goss, Jr.

  Wilson A. ‘June’ Goss, Jr., 79, of Reedsville, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 18, 2020, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital, E.R.  Born Feb. 9, 1940, in Milroy, he was a son of the late Wilson A. Goss, Sr. and Beatrice Grace (Yetter) Goss.  His wife, Nancy L. (Buchanan) Goss, whom he married July 13, 1960, survives.  Also surviving are: children, Sonieta Harrop and husband Ernest, Paula Goss, Charlene Wagner and husband Alan, Loraine Goss, Denise Kenawell and husband Marc, all of Milroy, and Dennis Goss and wife Mynthia of McAlevys Fort; brothers, Leroy J. Goss, Sr. of Milroy, Robert L. Goss, Mark E. Goss both of McVeytown, John K. Goss, Sr. of Lewistown; fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a baby brother, Allen Goss.  He had worked at Marlette Homes, Reedsville Mill, drove School bus, worked at Agway, Belleville, S&S Trees and lastly APM, Allensville.  He was a very active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Siglerville, where he served as a Councilman.  He was a member of the Mifflin county Open Show Committee, and was very active with the Mifflin County Fair Board.

  There will be a viewing 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020 at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Siglerville, with Rev. Charles L. Hershberger officiating.  Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Siglerville.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: St. Johns Lutheran Church, 1368 Siglerville Pike, Milroy, Pa. 17063, or Mifflin County 4-H, 152 East Market Street, Suite 100, Lewistown, PA 17044.
