Zachary Long Obituary

Zachary A. Long, 23, of Belleville, passed away Sunday morning, April 19, 2020.  Born April 18, 1997 in State College, he was a son of Terry A. and Rosie K. (King) Long of Belleville.  He is survived by: children, Audree Elizabeth Long and Lilianna Alicia Long both of Mifflin; siblings, Marissa E. Long and Cody L. Long both of Belleville; maternal grandfather Alvin King of Andover, N.Y.; paternal grandparents, Walter A. Long and wife Sandra of Halifax.  He was preceded in death by: paternal grandmother, Nancy C. (Byler) Long; maternal grandmother Anna Mae (Petersheim) King.  He was a field service technician for Overhead Door Corp., Lewistown.  Zachary was a 2015 graduate of Mifflin County High School.  Zach loved hunting and fishing with his brother, Cody and father, Terry; he loved the outdoors, and working with his hands.  He was kindhearted, looked for the best in others, and helped anyone he could, which reflected his heart for Jesus.  So many people were drawn to his sense of humor, his smile, and laughter that lit up the room.  He brought so much laughter and joy to our family; he enjoyed tormenting his sister, Marissa, brother, Cody, and mother, Rosie.  He loved his daughters, Audree and Lilianna, and enjoyed spending time with them, including taking walks with Audree.  Everyone who knew Zach loved him because he was full of love, joy, and compassion for those around him.  Zach had a heart of gold.  He truly enjoyed spending time with his life-long friends, Evan, Dan, Jake, Colton, Dillon, his friend, Mike, and many others, too numerous to count.  In addition, he loved spending time with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  We miss him so much.

In compliance with the COVID 19 pandemic guidelines, there will be no public viewing or services.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville, with Pastor Douglas D. Sabin officiating.
